Privacy Policy

PropTechPilot (theproptechpilot.com) is an editorial website. We do not require accounts, we do not sell products directly, and we collect as little personal information as possible. This page explains what is collected and why.

Information we collect

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. These logs are used for security and performance and are not combined with any other data by us.
  • Newsletter subscriptions. If you submit the newsletter form, we send your email address to Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email service provider, so it can deliver the toolkit, confirmation, and future emails you requested. We do not ask for your name or brokerage in that form.
  • Advertising analytics. We use the Meta Pixel to measure how visitors arrive at the site from our social media posts. The pixel loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” If allowed, Meta may set cookies and receive browser and usage data under its own privacy policy. Choosing “No thanks” does not affect the site.

We do not collect payment details and we do not sell personal information. The newsletter form is the only place where this site asks for directly identifying information.

Affiliate links

Articles may contain affiliate links to third-party software vendors. When you follow one, the destination site may set its own cookies to attribute the referral. What those sites collect is governed by their privacy policies, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure for details on how this affects our content.

Third-party services

  • Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
  • Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — newsletter subscription and email delivery.
  • Meta Pixel — consent-based traffic attribution for social media posts.
  • Pinterest — we publish links to our own articles on our own Pinterest boards. No visitor data is shared with Pinterest by this site.

Data retention and your rights

Newsletter information is retained by Kit while you remain subscribed or as needed to maintain an unsubscribe record. You can unsubscribe through any email. Analytics data held by Meta and server logs held by Vercel follow those providers' retention policies. To request access, correction, or deletion of newsletter data, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
