Why PropTechPilot Exists: Cutting Through Real Estate's AI Hype

Every real estate tool now claims to be AI-powered. Here's how we test what actually saves agents time and money — and what we're covering next.

If you work in real estate in 2026, your inbox looks like ours: every CRM, dialer, and listing platform has bolted "AI" onto its homepage, raised its prices, and promised to 10x your GCI.

Some of these tools are genuinely transformative. An AI follow-up system that responds to a Zillow lead in 30 seconds at 11pm will win you deals a human ISA misses. Others are a $400/month chatbot wrapper around ChatGPT that you could replicate for $20.

The problem is telling them apart — and that's the entire job of this site.

How we review

  • Real workflows, not feature lists. We judge a tool on what it changes about a working agent's Tuesday: lead follow-up, listing marketing, transaction paperwork.
  • Real pricing. Including the setup fees and per-seat costs vendors save for the sales call.
  • Honest trade-offs. Every recommendation includes who should skip the tool.
  • Human-verified. We use AI to research and draft at scale, and a human editor verifies every claim, price, and verdict before anything is published. If we get something wrong, we correct it and say so.

What's coming

Our first deep-dive series compares the AI-forward CRMs agents actually pay for — Follow Up Boss, Lofty, kvCORE, Wise Agent — followed by AI lead generation (does Ylopo pay for itself?), listing description generators, and a realistic "solo agent AI stack under $100/month."

If there's a tool you want tested, tell us. That queue is built from reader requests.
